Coaching is education, not treatment. Please read this before you start a program, cohort or session.
1. Coaching is not clinical treatment
The programs, cohorts, sessions, videos and materials offered by Sujith Somasundar are educational mental-performance and human-performance coaching. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric or counselling services, and they are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified health professional.
Coaching does not diagnose, treat or cure any mental-health condition. If you have, or think you may have, a mental-health condition, an eating disorder, an injury or any other medical concern, please consult a qualified professional, and continue any treatment you are receiving.
2. If you are in crisis
Coaching is not an emergency service. If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or are in immediate danger, call the national emergency number 112, or contact Tele-MANAS, the Government of India's free 24×7 mental-health helpline, on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416.
3. No guaranteed results
Performance depends on many factors outside any coach's control. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including selection, results, rankings, promotion or business performance. Any examples given are illustrative.
4. Young athletes
Products for young athletes are designed to be used with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for deciding whether they are suitable. We do not offer routine private 1:1 mental coaching to anyone under 18.
5. Physical activity
Some drills involve breathing, movement or practice in a training environment. Do them only within your own limits and follow the guidance of your coach, physio or doctor on anything physical.
6. Your responsibility
You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions. Use the ideas and tools in a way that is appropriate for your situation, and stop and seek professional help if anything causes you distress.
